For foodservice businesses only, Char Crust® dry rub seasoning is available in institutional sizes. Our preferred distributor is Sysco and we highly recommend their ChefEx program, which is a terrific source of specialty, imported, and artisan foods such as ours. Browse their Supplier List for more information, or click here to jump to the Char Crust® page on Sysco’s Supplier List. Note that this page takes a few seconds to load.
If you are not a Sysco customer, but are truly a foodservice business, please call us at 800-311-9884.
“I am personally a HUGE fan of the Roasted Garlic Peppercorn flavor, and use it on many things at home. I have been telling my prime rib/steak places about the product, and most of them have heard of the product, but didn’t know about the different flavors and all that was available!” — Rick B., Sysco Marketing Associate
Our roots are in foodservice.
Our family’s restaurant, Al Farber’s, was where it all began. Char Crusted prime steaks were the signature dish. Not only did diners enjoy them, but also the owners and chefs of competing steakhouses! After the restaurant closed in 1972, Bernard Silver and his father Nathan kept making their original Char Crust® and Roto Roast dry rub seasonings and found many chefs eagerly ordering their exclusive “secret to perfect steak.”
Today we are pleased that so many chefs — from casual sportsbars to fine white-tablecloth restaurants — enjoy and use Char Crust® dry rub seasonings on steaks, chicken, pork, seafood, and even vegetables. Try them and see for yourself how Char Crust® Seals in the Juices® and creates best-selling signature menu items.
