Boneless New York Strip at room temperature
Char Crust® Original Hickory Grilled
Preheat outdoor or indoor grill. Coat your New York Strip with Original Hickory Char Crust and then brush with olive oil. Grill on high heat flipping every two minutes. Cook until internal temp is 135 degrees for medium rare. 10 to 12 minutes total (depends on size of your steaks). Let sit for 10 minutes and slice prior to serving.
Side: Roasted Potatoes
Serve with a side of roasted Yukon golds/sweet potatoes/shallots (475 for 20 minutes) with olive oil and whole grain mustard. Top with some fresh parsley.
Step up option: New York Strip served with Herbed Butter
Add a couple tablespoons of butter to a pan. Add 1 or 2 cloves of fresh garlic chopped + any mix of herbs you like and salt/pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes on medium. Drizzle over the steak when it is done.
