How to Pan-Sear with Char Crust®

Preheat cast-iron pan to medium-high (400 - 425 degrees)

Dredge meat or fish in Char Crust just before cooking

Drizzle or spray surface of seasoned protein with canola oil or other oil suitable for high-heat cooking

Place meat or fish in pan.

Cook for 2 minutes, then flip and cook for 2 minutes on the other side

Flip protein every 2 minutes during cooking to ensure even cooking and no burning

Continue cooking until desired level of doneness
