BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients:

3 lb pork butt roast

Char Crust® All American BBQ

1 onion roughly chopped

2 tbsp olive oil 

1 dark beer or dark soda (like coke or root beer)

BBQ sauce

Buns 

Slaw

Tools: Dutch oven

Instructions

  1. Bring pork butt to room temperature.

  2. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  3. Coat pork all over with Char Crust® All American Barbecue.

  4. Place the dutch oven on the stove top and heat to medium high.  Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.  Add pork butt. Sear on all sides until nicely browned.

  5. Add 1 can of  beer or soda. Bring to a boil. Add chopped onion. Put lid on dutch oven and put in the oven. 

  6. Cook for about 3 hours and let sit for about an hour. Remove from liquid and shred with a fork. 

  7. Add bbq sauce to the pork to taste.  Place some pork on each bun, top with coleslaw and serve.
